Restaurant A La Ferme (French for ‘On The Farm’) started with a passion for the traditional farmers’ regional French cuisine. Since early 2009 Head Chef Ben van Geelen produces delightful dishes in the area the ‘Pijp’ around the corner from Amsterdam’s famous Albert Cuyp market.

Taste is paramount in our restaurant and we cook exclusively with seasonal ingredients, whereby everything we prepare is home made, from our sausages, pates, bread chocolates accompanying your coffee and everything in between.  Cooking is Ben’s great passion and he does this with much conviction!

The restaurant has, partly because of its red interior, a French brasserie atmosphere which is reflected in the kitchen of Van Geelen.  A perfect setting for those who enjoy fine cuisine and wines in a relaxed atmosphere at very reasonable prices in a hospitable restaurant.
